FIRST MSESL TITLE!!! BLAST 5 MORE HR; CRUSH FHWA 18-8

October 5, 2002...The Renegades clinched their first ever MSESL Championship after trouncing FHWA 18-8 last night at Boston Common. Behind superb pitching from "The Natural," solid team defense, and 5 more homers, a determined Motor Pool Renegade team ended years of post season frustration after completing their third straight '02 playoff series sweep. The victory over FHWA enabled the Bisons to capture their first ever MSESL title. Chuck Kostro (4 for 4, 5 RBI) and Vin Digilio (3 for 3, 4RBI) each homered twice for the Renegades while John Megan (4 for 5) also went deep.
